Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Block Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Wynd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes into the arena with Slayer - Raining Blood blaring out of the sound system. Hector Wynd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Block Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Wynd!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wynd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wynd there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wynd is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liddell.
Liddell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Liddell throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Good leg kick by Liddell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wynd takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wynd misses with a hook to the body
and Liddell counters with a leg kick.
Wynd looks gassed!
Liddell throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A jab from Liddell finds it's way through Wynd's defenses.
Liddell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Hector Wynd has been cut.

Liddell drops Wynd with a beautiful combination! Wynd stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Liddell is looking for the KO!
Liddell throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wynd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Liddell sends Wynd crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Liddell is motioning to the referee to let Wynd up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Wynd is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wynd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wynd is still on wobbly legs! Can Liddell finish him?
Liddell looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Liddell backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Wynd's temple! It sends Wynd violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Liddell celebrates and the doctors try to help Wynd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Block Liddell!
