Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglass Devine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Devine's waist but Devine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tanner off to one side.
Tanner shoots in for a takedown but Devine shows good takedown defense.
Tanner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Tanner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanner shoots in and drives through. Devine sprawls well.

Devine shoots in and bounces Tanner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tanner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tanner is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Devine wants to control but Tanner is keeping busy.
Tanner wants to pass to mount but Devine is defending the position.
Devine looks like he's trying to stand up.

Devine regains full guard. Nicely done.

Devine is looking for a triangle but Tanner pushes his legs off easily.

Tanner tries to free his leg and advance position but Devine is retaining full guard.

Devine looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tanner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Devine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tanner is breathing heavily.
Devine takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Devine can't do much from the bottom here.
Devine misses with a strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanner works to advance to full mount. Devine defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Tanner landing punches.
Devine is desperately trying to improve his position but Tanner has a good base and remains in mount.
Tanner moves to back control.

Tanner connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Devine to escape the position.
