Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Bowman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Isaiah Ferguson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman is looking to clinch.

Bowman has Ferguson up against the cage in a clinch.
Bowman is pressed up against the cage. Ferguson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bowman down to the mat. Bowman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ferguson throws a push kick but Bowman slaps the foot to one side.
Ferguson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bowman takes a step back to recover.

Bowman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bowman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bowman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ferguson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ferguson and Bowman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bowman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ferguson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Bowman fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Bowman decides to stand back up. Bowman steps back and let's Ferguson get back to his feet.
Bowman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Some bone on bone action there as Ferguson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Bowman darts in and clinches Ferguson up against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bowman is trying to drag Ferguson to the mat but Ferguson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bowman wants to get back to striking at distance but Ferguson won't allow it.

Bowman digs a right hand underneath Ferguson's ribcage. Ferguson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Ferguson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bowman is fending him off so far but Ferguson persists. Nope, Bowman circles away and we're back to standing.
Ferguson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bowman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ferguson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bowman's waist but Bowman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferguson off to one side.

Well Bowman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
