The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy looks for a takedown but Halonen sprawls well.

Halonen tries to keep at a distance but Guy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Halonen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Guy avoids the body shot from Halonen.
Halonen swats away the attempt to clinch by Guy.
Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Halonen which made him look bad.

Guy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Halonen defends well.

Halonen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of That Guy.

Halonen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Halonen showed some decent athleticism there.

Guy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Halonen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Halonen's back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
