Boudreaux's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Forsake Not The Dream. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chance Boudreaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Brega!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boudreaux misses with an uppercut. Brega saw that one coming.
Nice takedown defense from Boudreaux. No joy for Brega on that attempt.
A head kick misses from Boudreaux.
Brega moves forwards but Boudreaux connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Brega moves into range and clinches up with Boudreaux.

Brega has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Boudreaux clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Brega looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Boudreaux is controlling Brega 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Boudreaux wants to get up but he can't break Brega's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Boudreaux wants to stand and escape but instead Brega has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brega in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Brega postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Brega throws a strike but Boudreaux rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Boudreaux trying to control but Brega is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boudreaux tries to stand but Brega is controlling from the bottom.
Brega is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brega not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brega has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boudreaux has hold of Brega's hands but Brega slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Boudreaux on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boudreaux tries to get out of the position.
Brega is nestled in close to Boudreaux, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brega is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boudreaux on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Brega wants to work for an arm triangle but Boudreaux is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brega not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brega is pressing down on Boudreaux's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boudreaux is holding on for now.
Brega trying to advance position but Boudreaux counters by regaining guard.
Brega trying to control the position from guard on top but Boudreaux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boudreaux wants to stand up but Brega is controlling him.
Boudreaux avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Brega throws a big elbow that misses.
Brega throws a big right hand that misses.
Boudreaux utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brega distracts Boudreaux with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brega wants to control from the top but Boudreaux keeps moving.
Boudreaux utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antonio Brega dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Boudreaux tries to bum rush Brega with a series of wild strikes but Brega uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boudreaux scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Boudreaux fakes the leg kick and cracks Brega in the body.
Boudreaux dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boudreaux.
Boudreaux with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boudreaux slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brega changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boudreaux tries to avoid it but Brega manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boudreaux to the ground. Boudreaux escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Boudreaux.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brega shoots for a double leg takedown but Boudreaux sprawls well. He's pushed Brega's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boudreaux lands a big head kick that sends Brega tumbling to the mat! Boudreaux takes a step backwards and waves Brega back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brega is still on wobbly legs! Can Boudreaux finish him?
Brega chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boudreaux can pounce on him.
Brega is breathing heavily.
Boudreaux fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Brega to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Brega looks to clinch but Boudreaux throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Brega taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Chance Boudreaux!
A very excited looking Chance Boudreaux made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
