Hopler's entrance music is Bodies (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor) . A fine choice. Watcharaphong Phantalee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Phantalee circles away quickly and effectively.
Watcharaphong Phantalee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopler blocks a head kick by Phantalee.
Phantalee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Phantalee throws a sloppy head kick and Hopler moves out of range easily.

Hopler throws the left hand but Phantalee avoids the punch easily.

and Hopler counters with a shoot takedown. Phantalee fights it but they end up in guard.

Phantalee has his foot on Hopler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hopler works his way back into a safe position though.
Hopler wanted to stand there but Phantalee had control of the position.

Hopler gets to his feet. Phantalee looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Phantalee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hopler. Phantalee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Phantalee lands with a kick to the temple. Hopler shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Phantalee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Phantalee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hopler throws out the jab.

Phantalee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hopler tests Phantalee's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hopler pounces like a tiger and cracks Phantalee with a vicious hook! Phantalee is down but not out! Hopler follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
