Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Pete Sproles!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sproles plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Sproles wants to clinch.

Sproles gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sproles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sproles scores with a head kick.
Sproles moves away from the strike by Kimmel.
Sproles misses with the combination.
Kimmel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sproles.
Sproles fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sproles stalks Kimmel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kimmel's face. Kimmel staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sproles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sproles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kimmel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sproles has a takedown stuffed.
Sproles throws a nice head kick!
Sproles uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kimmel.
Pete Sproles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sproles clinches up with Kimmel and pushes him back against the cage.
Kimmel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sproles after a bit of a struggle.

Sproles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sproles.
Kimmel is breathing heavily.
Kimmel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Sproles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kimmel blocking the ground and pound.

Sproles tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Poor strikes thrown by Sproles there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Sproles throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Sproles is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kimmel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kimmel shrugs it off.

Sproles has isolated one of Kimmel's arms. Kimmel looking to fight him off but Sproles twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Pete Sproles was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
