The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaptangco shoots in and drives through. Bot sprawls well.
Bot looks to score with a jab to the body but Yaptangco is just out of range.

Bot fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yaptangco to the ground. Bot is now in Yaptangco's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bot stands up over Yaptangco, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bot is working Yaptangco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bot looking to score a takedown here. Yaptangco is defending well but Bot drives through and ends up in Yaptangco's guard.
Bot is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bot passes Yaptangco's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Bot wants to take a breather but Yaptangco is having none of it.
Bot lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Yaptangco is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bot is nestled in close to Yaptangco, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Yaptangco is still in real trouble! Can Bot finish him?
Yaptangco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bot lands a nice short elbow.
Bot scores with a big shot! Yaptangco's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Yaptangco! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wrestling Bot!
In his post fight interview, Wrestling Bot started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
