Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen Zemitan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Richard Evans is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Darko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Evans!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darko's waist but Darko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side.
Evans looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Horrible takedown by Darko or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Darko is defended easily by Evans.
Darko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Evans was covering up waiting for the punch and Darko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Darko forces his way into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Evans can do anything to dispel that myth.
Darko is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Evans!

Darko is landing with some decent strikes but Evans is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Darko cracks Evans with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
