Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Bokya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akhmad ShugaR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bokya comes into the arena with Embrace Annihilation blaring out of the sound system. ShugaR has chosen Dagestan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bokya connects with a right hand. ShugaR shakes it off.
ShugaR tries to clinch up but Bokya circles away and keeps his distance.
ShugaR throws a looping overhand right but Bokya ducks down to avoid it.
Bokya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by ShugaR.
Akhmad ShugaR seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

ShugaR is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bokya is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

ShugaR connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bokya some visible discomfort.

ShugaR goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bokya rolls with the submission and now he's on top in ShugaR's guard! Nice work there by Bokya!
Bokya wants to pass the guard but ShugaR is keeping the position.

ShugaR fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bokya to the ground. ShugaR is now in Bokya's guard.

ShugaR tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no ShugaR has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A big shot lands for ShugaR! That's hurt Bokya! Will he recover? ShugaR fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
