The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roberts as he avoids it easily.
Roberts misses with a low kick.

Todd clinches.
Todd keeps control of Roberts as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Todd is looking for a takedown.
Todd jumps guard but Roberts stands there with Todd around his waist. Todd gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tim Roberts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cory Todd.

Todd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Todd shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roberts as he avoids it easily.
Todd blocks a leg kick.
Todd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roberts but Roberts pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Todd avoids a kick to the body.
Todd closes the distance and clinches up with Roberts, looking for a takedown. Todd pushes Roberts against the cage but Roberts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Todd counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roberts tries to clinch but Todd is having none of it.
Tim Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Todd keeps the fight on the outside.
Roberts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Roberts connects with an inside leg kick.
Roberts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Todd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Todd keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Roberts! Todd is out on his feet! Roberts rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Todd is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Todd is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
