The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conan throws a nice looking combination but Emelianenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Conan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Conan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Emelianenko blocks a leg kick.
Conan slips a jab and a cross from Emelianenko.
Conan missing with a left hand there. Emelianenko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Conan scores with a jab.
Emelianenko tests Conan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Conan throws a head kick that Emelianenko semi-blocks.
Emelianenko misses with a straight left.
Emelianenko throws a right hand that Conan ducks under and follows up with a left that Conan also avoids with ease.
Conan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Emelianenko stumbling backwards into the cage! Emelianenko bounces back off the cage towards Conan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Conan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Conan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kull Conan!
