Watson comes to the cage accompanied by TV on the radio- DLZ. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Watson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Gerrard Jones has been cut.
Watson throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Watson is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Watson circles away and we're back to standing.
Watson throws a combination that misses

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Watson uses from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.

Watson stands up and waves to Jones to follow him.
Watson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Watson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Watson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Watson moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tide Watson!
Post fight, Tide Watson stared into the camera and said 'It was a great bout and i have nothing against Gerrard Jones but i did what i had to do to get the win and Im just planning on getting better and stronger and nothing is going to stand in my way Not Jones not my next opponent not even god I am here and I am staying for good '.
