Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Rodwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodwell comes to the cage accompanied by Pitbull - I know you want me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant shoots in for a double leg but Rodwell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Grant fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rodwell to the ground. Grant is now in Rodwell's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Grant throwing strikes from guard but Rodwell blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grant slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Grant lands a nice forearm strike.
It looks like Dave Rodwell has been cut.
Rodwell can't do much from the bottom here.
Grant in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Rodwell is rocked!
Dave Rodwell's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grant slows the pace down.

Grant scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rodwell is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Grant can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
