Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Wispe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alf Alfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wispe comes to the cage accompanied by Me Against The World. Alfa has chosen Jiu Jitsu - Smoke Serpent as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matthew Wispe has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfa throws a low kick but Wispe moves out of range easily.
Wispe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alfa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Wispe counter with a right hand.
Crunch! Alfa slams his shin into Wispe's torso.
A slapping leg kick lands for Alfa.
Alfa tries for a takedown but Wispe circles away easily
and Wispe counters with a left to the body.
Alfa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Alfa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wispe counters with a straight right hand.
Matthew Wispe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alf Alfa.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alfa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Alfa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wispe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Alfa wants to control from the top but Wispe keeps moving.

Wispe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wispe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Alfa is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alfa tries to free his leg and advance position but Wispe is retaining full guard.

Alfa drops back looking for a leg! Wispe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wispe manages to kick Alfa off! Alfa jumps back into Wispe's guard.

Wispe looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Alfa passes into half guard.
Wispe wants to improve his position but Alfa is controlling well.

Alfa is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wispe is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
