Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antero Vipunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jibber Jabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jibber Jabber!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber ducks under a wild hook from Vipunen.
Jabber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vipunen but Vipunen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vipunen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jabber is fending him off so far but Vipunen persists. Nope, Jabber circles away and we're back to standing.
Jabber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vipunen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jabber instigates a clinch.
Vipunen cracks Jabber with a nice body shot.
Jabber tries to break the clinch but Vipunen is controlling the position.

Jabber decides to pull guard.
Jabber is trying to control the position but Vipunen postures up.
Jabber is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vipunen wants to control from the top but Jabber keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vipunen thows a big elbow that misses.
Vipunen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Vipunen is looking to stand up but Jabber won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jabber wants to get back to his feet but Vipunen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vipunen closes the distance and clinches up with Jabber, looking for a takedown. Vipunen pushes Jabber against the cage but Jabber circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jabber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vipunen tries to avoid it but Jabber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vipunen to the ground. Vipunen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vipunen walks into a straight right hand from Jabber.
Vipunen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Vipunen.
Vipunen throws a body punch but Jabber moves out of range.
Vipunen is breathing heavily.
Vipunen lands a head kick that stumbles Jabber and the fighters go to the mat.

Jabber is rocked!

Jabber is still in real trouble! Can Vipunen finish him?
Vipunen forces his way into half guard.
Vipunen lands strikes from half guard.
Still in half guard, Vipunen seems content to control.

Vipunen is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jabber has managed to free his arm - good work.

Vipunen lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jabber! More strikes land and this one is all over! Vipunen jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
