Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huthe shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Huthe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kurmotus keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Kurmotus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kurmotus is trying to stand.
Kurmotus wants to control but Huthe is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Huthe checks a leg kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sloppy strikes from Kurmotus. Those never looked like landing.
Taisto Kurmotus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurmotus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Huthe slips a straight right by Kurmotus.
Huthe has a takedown stuffed.
Huthe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kurmotus's head.

Huthe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kurmotus quickly recovers to half guard.
Huthe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kurmotus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kurmotus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kurmotus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Huthe. Kurmotus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kurmotus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Huthe blocks the body kick.
Kurmotus takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kurmotus loads up on a big right hand but Huthe slips the punch.
Kurmotus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Huthe throws a jab when Kurmotus was well out of range.

Huthe misses the shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kurmotus misses with a looping left.
Nice shot lands for Kurmotus.
Kurmotus attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kurmotus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huthe.

Huthe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Huthe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kurmotus can pounce on him.

Huthe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kurmotus in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kurmotus to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
