The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Arthit. No joy for Dawn on that attempt.
Dawn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Arthit doesn't manage to clinch there - Dawn circles away.
Arthit really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dawn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arthit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dawn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dawn blocks a head kick by Arthit.
Dawn misses with a low kick.
Arthit tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Arthit moves in looking to clinch but Dawn pushes him off.

and Arthit counters with a good low kick that Dawn was not able to check.
Arthit closes the distance looking to clinch

and Dawn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arthit won't be happy with that.

Arthit is looking for a sweep.
Arthit is working hard here to advance position.
Sloppy strikes there by Dawn.
Dawn wants to control but Arthit is keeping him busy.
Dawn controls the position.

Dawn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Arthit counters with a low kick, right behind Dawn 's knee.
Saeng Arthit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Dawn.

The fight stays on the outside here - Arthit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Arthit blocks a jab.
Saeng Arthit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arthit gets a clinch.
Dawn keeps control of Arthit as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Arthit is pressed up against the cage. Dawn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arthit down to the mat. Arthit avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Arthit.
Dawn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dawn tries for a takedown but Arthit circles away easily
and Arthit counters with a big head kick but Dawn shrugs it off.

Arthit is looking to clinch.
Arthit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arthit wants it to stay on the feet.
Arthit slips a jab and a cross from Dawn.
Arthit closes the distance looking to clinch

and Dawn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arthit won't be happy with that.
Arthit is not content to let Dawn control the position.
Arthit tries to bench press Dawn off him but Dawn keeps the position.

Dawn is working to tighten is grip on Arthit's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Arthit has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dawn is really squeezing tight and eventually Arthit passes out! Dawn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
