Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cheick Mitrionne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryoga Hibiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hibiki's choice of entrance music: Blue Orchid. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hibiki avoids the head kick by Mitrionne.

Hibiki has picked Mitrionne up - he's going for a ride! Hibiki dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Mitrionne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mitrionne wants it to stay on the feet.

Mitrionne is working an open guard so Hibiki takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Mitrionne is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hibiki has hold of Mitrionne's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mitrionne tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hibiki cranks the arm and Mitrionne screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mitrionne, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
