Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 106 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Jobber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Orjan Somme!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Somme shoots in and gets a takedown into Jobber's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Somme seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jobber might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jobber is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Orjan Somme hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jobber drives through and clinches with Somme against the cage.

Somme jumps guard and drags Jobber to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Somme looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jobber is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Somme has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mr Jobber.

Jobber gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jobber wants to break free but Somme has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Somme prevents Jobber from breaking the clinch.

Somme successfully pulls guard.
Somme has control of Jobber's left arm, preventing Jobber from doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jobber rushes Somme and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Somme ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Somme no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jobber wants to stand but Somme has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Somme is pulling down on Jobber's head to control his posture.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mr Jobber wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Somme.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Somme works to advance to full mount. Jobber defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Jobber is breathing heavily.
Somme tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Somme with good strikes from the mount here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orjan Somme dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Somme clinches with his opponent.

Somme pulls guard.
Somme has his hands on Jobber's head, controlling the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jobber clinches with his opponent.
Jobber is trying to break free.

Somme turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Somme manages to end up in side control.
Jobber wants to get back to his feet but Somme is dominant here and he's now got Jobber's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Somme has got one arm under Jobber's chin. This could be trouble... Jobber trying to control the other hand but Somme gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jobber has tapped out! The fight is over!
