Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crimson Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redd has chosen Jimi Hendrix Vodoo Child as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Crimson Redd enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redd throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bishop was covering up waiting for the punch and Redd finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bishop can't keep his opponent in guard - Redd advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Redd is trying to control. Bishop wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Redd is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Bishop on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bishop tries to get out of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Redd looking to sit in guard and control but Bishop gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bishop stands and steps away. Redd gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Redd has gone for a leg lock! Bishop slips out almost immediately though and dives into Redd's guard.

Redd is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bishop defends well.

Redd has picked Bishop up - he's going for a ride! Redd dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Bishop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Redd on the ground.

Redd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bishop doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Redd.

Bishop is in trouble now - Redd has advanced to mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Redd is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bishop has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bishop!

Redd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bishop enables Redd to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bishop manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Crimson Redd tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
