Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobedo comes to the cage accompanied by EL PECADOR. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobedo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Escobedo scrambles back to his feet.

Brown closes the distance and clinches.

Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brown lunges at Escobedo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Escobedo's hand.
Brown fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Escobedo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brown to keep the fight standing.

Brown stalks Escobedo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Escobedo's face. Escobedo staggers backwards, shaken.

Brown lands with a nice combination. Escobedo backs away looking to recover.

Horrible takedown by Escobedo or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.

Escobedo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely.
Brown has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Brown moves into range and clinches up with Escobedo.

Escobedo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brown defends well.

Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Escobedos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Escobedo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Brown rushes Escobedo and presses him up against the cage.
Brown creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Escobedo's defenses.

Brown clinches up with Escobedo and pushes him back against the cage.
Brown lands a damaging elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown connects with a jab.
Brown swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Escobedo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Escobedo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Escobedo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brown gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Escobedo tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Escobedo drops back down to his feet.

Escobedo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brown fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Brown moves into the clinch.
Escobedo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Escobedo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Escobedos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brown slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Brown cracks Escobedo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brown has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Escobedo to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Escobedo to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Escobedo looks to clinch but Brown throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Escobedo taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
