The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blitzkilf looking to score a takedown here. Jackson is defending well but Blitzkilf drives through and ends up in Jackson's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Blitzkilf is working Jackson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jackson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jackson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blitzkilf tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Blitzkilf is looking to improve his position but Jackson isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Blitzkilf is bucking up trying to escape but Jackson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jackson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Blitzkilf tries to hold on but Jackson postures up.
Jackson wants to control the pace but Blitzkilf is squirming around nicely.
Blitzkilf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jackson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blitzkilf hang on?
