Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Red Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockin Ron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alexandra Stan - Mr Saxobeat. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ron shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Red Boy defends it nicely.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Red Boy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ron is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ron has escaped and now he's on top!

Red Boy kicks Ron off and gets to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ron.
Ron is breathing heavily.

Ron lands with a good body shot.

Ron shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Red Boy pinned against the cage. Red Boy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Red Boy.

Red Boy gets tackled into the cage by Ron. Ron maintains the clinch.
Ron lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Red Boy or not.
Ron is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ron manages to pull guard.

Red Boy lands a couple of digs.
Red Boy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Red Boy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ron is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Red Boy, into his guard.

Red Boy manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Ron lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Red Boy circles away quickly and effectively.

Red Boy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ron is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Red Boy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ron is just riding it out for now. Red Boy eventually gives up the hold.
Ron is trying to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paul Red Boy will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Red Boy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
