Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anibal Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Kolloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Anibal Howard has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kolloo!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a wild combination.
Howard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kolloo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Howard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Howard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kolloo counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kolloo throws out a loose jab but Howard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Howard tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Kolloo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Howard walks into a left hand.
Some wild striking there from Howard.
Howard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kolloo as he avoids it easily.
Kolloo scores with a nice strike.
Kolloo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Howard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kolloo swivels and escapes.

Horrible takedown by Howard or perhaps it was just good defense by Kolloo which made him look bad.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Howard is looking to clinch.

Kolloo closes the distance and clinches.
Kolloo is looking to control Howard's arms but Howard gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kolloo has his back to the ropes.
Howard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kolloo lands with a short shot to the head.
Howard is trying to push Kolloo away but Kolloo has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kolloo.
Kolloo is pressed up against the ropes. Howard has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kolloo down to the mat. Kolloo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Kolloo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Howard doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kolloo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Howard moves in looking to clinch but Kolloo pushes him off.
Howard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kolloo.

and Kolloo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kolloo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Kolloo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Howard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kolloo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Howard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Howard shoots and misses
and Kolloo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jaakko Kolloo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Howard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kolloo counters with a low kick, right behind Howard 's knee.
Howard throws a lazy head kick
and Kolloo counters with a good low kick that Howard was not able to check.

Kolloo lands a glancing blow to the side of Howard's head.

Kolloo has closed the distance and engaged Howard in a clinch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Howard. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Howard drops his hands momentarily and Kolloo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kolloo misses with a wild combination.
Kolloo takes a swing at Howard's ribcage but misses.
Howard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Howard walks into a straight right hand from Kolloo.

Howard is rocked!
Howard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kolloo sprawls well. Kolloo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Howard gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Howard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Howard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kolloo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howard takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kolloo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kolloo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Howard's calf.
Kolloo stuns Howard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kolloo works the jab nicely.
Kolloo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Howard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Howard walks straight into a right hand from Kolloo - that's dropped him! Kolloo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Howard from any more punishment! Howard complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Jaakko Kolloo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
