Ishizaki comes to the cage accompanied by Captain Tsubasa. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryo Ishizaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Liam Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey moves to clinch but Ishizaki breaks away

and Ishizaki counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bailey is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ishizaki is controlling him well.
Ishizaki controlling the position from side mount.
Ishizaki has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bailey!
Ishizaki content just to control the position here.
Bailey's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ishizaki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ishizaki moves to the back.
Ishizaki just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ishizaki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ryo Ishizaki wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Ishizaki circles away from the clinch attempt

and Ishizaki counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bailey!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ishizaki moves to the back.
Ishizaki is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Ishizaki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bailey for as long as he can get away with.
Bailey looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ryo Ishizaki.
Bailey looks to clinch

and Ishizaki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bailey's guard now.
Ishizaki works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Ishizaki maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bailey could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ishizaki has cracked it and Bailey is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ishizaki!
