Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daisu Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sampson Kesler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyagi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Miyagi lands in his opponent's guard.
Kesler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kesler wants to stand and escape but Miyagi is having none of it.
Miyagi pushing down on Kesler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Miyagi is trying to work for a kimura but Kesler is defending well.

Miyagi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kesler is not content to let Miyagi control the position.

Miyagi wants to work for an arm triangle but Kesler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Miyagi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kesler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miyagi.
Kesler is not content to let Miyagi control the position.

Kesler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Miyagi keeps control of the position easily here as Kesler tries to buck him off.

It looks like Sampson Kesler has been cut.
Miyagi tries to get the hooks in deep but Kesler pushed the leg off.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Miyagi.
Miyagi lands a shot to the body.
Kesler is trapped and Miyagi is scoring with shots to the head and body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miyagi scores with strikes from the back.

Kesler won't enjoy being in this position. Miyagi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kesler is tapping - it's over boys! Miyagi picks up the submission victory!
