Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky King!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakamura looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Nakamura wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nakamura trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but King manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
King has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nakamura is proving hard to escape from.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

King shoots for a double leg takedown but Nakamura sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nakamura is defended easily by King.
Nakamura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Nakamura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nakamura feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Nakamura changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King swings for the body but Nakamura moves out of range.

Rocky King has got the better of the ground game so far.

King has hold of Nakamura's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nakamura manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nakamura is looking to improve his position but King isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nakamura is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Rocky King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nakamura shoots and misses

and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nakamura won't be happy with that.
King is looking to take a break and control but Nakamura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nakamura is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

King stands up and beckons Nakamura to his feet.
Hiroshi Nakamura is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The fighters are battling for position here. King manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kingis looking to pass into half guard but Nakamura pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nakamura is in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nakamura holds on and takes a little breather.

Nakamura is looking for a triangle but King pushes his legs off easily.

King stands up and waves to Nakamura to follow him.

Nakamura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. King sprawls well initially but Nakamura persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
King is looking to escape.
Nakamura tries to stand but can't do so whilst King controls his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King is not content to let Nakamura control the position.

I would just about give that final round to Rocky King.
I think King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
