Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose RIzal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Galloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Galloway will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose RIzal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Galloway!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Galloway gets the takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Galloway wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by RIzal, who protects the arm well.
RIzal manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
RIzal not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

RIzal is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Galloway doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time RIzal.
RIzal is thwarting Galloway's attempts to control the position.
RIzal is looking to take a break and control but Galloway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

RIzal is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Galloway defends it well.
Galloway is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

RIzal is working for a submission of some sort.
RIzal wants to take a breather but Galloway is having none of it.

RIzal is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Galloway as he works his way to full guard.
Galloway keeping moving, preventing RIzal from controlling successfully.

RIzal wants to stand and escape but instead Galloway has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

RIzal looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
RIzal is breathing heavily.
Galloway has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of RIzal is proving hard to escape from.

RIzal throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Galloway sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed RIzal's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Galloway is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Galloway is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so RIzal is just riding it out for now. Galloway eventually gives up the hold.
RIzal tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Galloway has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Galloway has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of RIzal's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose RIzal will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

RIzal throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

RIzal in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Galloway tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from RIzal!
