PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Hyneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tappin Datass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Datass finds it's way through Hyneman's defenses.
Datass ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hyneman moves away.
Jamie Hyneman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Datass drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hyneman tries to bench press Datass off him but Datass keeps the position.
Datass is looking to take a break and control but Hyneman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hyneman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Datass on the ground.

Datass creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hyneman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters circle momentarily. Datass darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
