Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Miike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Davis's choice of entrance music: Marine Corps Hymn. George Davis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miike walks into a straight right hand from Davis.
Miike shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miike shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miike gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miike takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Miike. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miike shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed Miike's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miike does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Takeshi Miike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miike looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.
Davis tries to bum rush Miike with a series of wild strikes but Miike uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Miike keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Davis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Miike closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Davis's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Miike stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Davis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Miike's guard. Nice work there by Davis.
Davis is looking to work some ground and pound but Miike has wrist control.
Miike might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Davis connects with a couple of short punches.

Davis stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Miike throws up his legs and catches Davis in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Davis tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Miike! That came out of nowhere!
