Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Shishkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adamek has chosen I Am The Sword - Motorhead as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamek defending well as Shishkin loads up on a big left hand.
Adamek blocks a head kick by Shishkin.
Adamek checks a leg kick.
Shishkin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Adamek blocks a jab.
Shishkin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Adamek avoids the head kick by Shishkin.

Adamek scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shishkin is looking for a sweep. Adamek is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Shishkin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Adamek is working away from the top position though.

Adamek is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Shishkin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shishkin shrugs it off.
Shishkin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
