Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Russ Hodges!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hodges gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
De Caires wants to control from the top but Hodges keeps moving.

Hodges really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Caires. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

De Caires postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hodges to stand up.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting De Caires here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Hodges shoots in but De Caires avoids the takedown attempt easily.
