The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos tries to clinch but Colon moves away

and Colon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Colon slips a nice elbow through Ramos's hands, connecting with Ramos's forehead.
Ramos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ramos is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ramos manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Colon gets to his feet. Ramos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ramos tries to clinch but Colon moves away

and Colon counters by moving into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Colon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Colon swats away the attempt to clinch by Ramos.

Colon forces Ramos back against the cage and clinches.
Ramos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Colon pulls guard.
Ramos trying to control but Colon is working from the bottom.
Colon wants to stand up but Ramos is controlling him.

Colon throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ramos wants to pass the guard but Colon is keeping the position.

Colon is looking for a triangle but Ramos pushes his legs off easily.

Colon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ramos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ramos won't allow Colon to get back to his feet.

Ramos is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Colon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Colon has escaped and now he's on top!

Ramos wants to sweep but no luck.

Ramos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Colon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ramos is trying to control the position but Colon postures up.
Colon tries to stand but Ramos is controlling from the bottom.

Ramos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Colon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ramos's body to avoid the submission. Ramos has instead reached around Colon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ramos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ryan Ramos decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
