The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Russian enables Nukem to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Russian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nukem has eaten all the pies!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Russian is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Russian tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Russian is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nukem defends well.
Nukem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Russian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nukem in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Russian tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nukem!
