Suerto has chosen 50 Cent-Ready For War (Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venris moves into the clinch successfully.

Venris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Venris clinches.
Venris misses with a knee to the head.
Suerto on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Venris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suerto is defending well for now.

Suerto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Venris walks away with a smile on his face. Suerto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Venris clinches.

Venris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Venris throws a wild body kick that Suerto sees coming a mile off.
Suerto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Venris rushes Suerto and presses him up against the cage.
Venris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Suerto.
Venris tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Suerto avoids it.
Venris throws an elbow but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Venris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suerto is defending well for now.

Suerto has hold of one of Venris's legs. Venris is fighting the takedown attempt but Suerto gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Venris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Suerto has gone for a leg lock! Venris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Suerto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Venris is posturing up here but Suerto has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Venris tries to roll out but it's too tight and Venris has to tap! Slick submission there by Suerto!
