Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Andre Perkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Hammer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer blocks the body kick.
Perkins takes one to the chin there.
Hammer is looking to clinch.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown. Perkins tries to sprawl out of it but Hammer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Perkins with shots to the head and body - Hammer looks very uncomfortable down there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer looks gassed!
Hammer tries to reverse the position but Perkins maintains control.

Perkins landing strikes from the mount and Hammer is in trouble!
Perkins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Hammer is rocked!
Perkins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hammer scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Perkins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Perkins stands and salutes the crowd.
