Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Satriani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Nawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satriani moves out of range of the body kick.

and Nawasaki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Satriani won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Nawasaki has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Nawasaki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Satriani's guard.

Nawasaki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nawasaki might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Satriani kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
