Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfe Levitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg The Beast has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wolfe Levitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oleg The Beast!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast fails to land the takedown.
Levitt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Beast stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The Beast takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The Beast pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The Beast moves into the clinch.

The Beast pulls guard successfully.
The Beast is trying to keep Levitt in close.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Levitt trying to control the position from guard on top but The Beast is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Levitt is looking to work some ground and pound but The Beast has wrist control.

The Beast pushes Levitt off and scrambles back to his feet.
Levitt fails with a takedown attempt.

The Beast stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Levitt.
Levitt shoots in looking for a takedown. The Beast tries to sprawl out of it but Levitt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Beast manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Levitt is looking to clinch.
Levitt lands a lovely overhand right.
Levitt shoots in for a double leg but The Beast sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolfe Levitt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Levitt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Beast tries to avoid it but Levitt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Beast to the ground. The Beast escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The Beast closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Levitt quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Beast looks gassed!
Levitt wants to get back to full guard.
The Beast is pressing down on Levitt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Levitt is holding on for now.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Levitt is looking for a sweep. The Beast is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Levitt is trying to control but can't.

The Beast looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The Beast not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The Beast wants to pass to mount but Levitt is defending the position.
Levitt wants to control but The Beast is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Levitt is pressing down on The Beast's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Levitt has an active guard here but The Beast has managed to pass into half guard.

Levitt actively working from the bottom here.
Levitt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The Beast sitting and controlling from the half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Beast seems to be working for a kimura but Levitt defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Levitt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and The Beast counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Beast.
The Beast controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The Beast gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Levitt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging The Beast to the ground. Levitt is now in The Beast's guard.

Levitt wants to control from the top but The Beast keeps moving.

The Beast throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Levitt passes into half guard.
The Beast is concentrating on defense, preventing Levitt from advancing position.
The Beast trying to hold on to Levitt's head to control him but Levitt postures up.

The Beast moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The Beast looking to control.
The Beast has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Levitt wants to stand and escape but instead The Beast has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Levitt is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Levitt is trying to keep The Beast in close.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wolfe Levitt.

The Beast gets to his feet - Levitt follows without any prompting.
Wolfe Levitt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Levitt moves out of range as The Beast throws a body kick.

The Beast closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Levitt's guard.
The Beast slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Beast stands up and waves to Levitt to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oleg The Beast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Levitt doesn't succeed with the takedown

and The Beast counters with a shoot takedown. Levitt fights it but they end up in guard.
The Beast should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Levitt looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Beast is one step ahead there.

The Beast's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Oleg The Beast was stalling too much, according to the referee.
The Beast fails in his attempt to clinch.
Levitt wants to clinch up but The Beast keeps it at a distance.
Levitt circles away from the clinch attempt.

Levitt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The Beast fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Levitt dives in and grabs The Beast's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Beast pushes down on Levitt's head and hops out.
Levitt shoots in and drives through. The Beast sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolfe Levitt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The Beast blocks a leg kick.

and The Beast counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Levitt's guard now.

The Beast drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Beast jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The Beast not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Levitt manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oleg The Beast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think The Beast has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
