The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Grimes has knocked Copout down with a huge combo! Grimes steps away and waves a wobbly Copout back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Cro Copout has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grimes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Copout unloads a knee to the mid-section. Grimes lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Grimes scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Grimes lands with a short shot to the head.

Grimes breaks from the clinch.
Grimes throws a big shot that misses.

Copout gets tackled into the cage by Grimes. Grimes maintains the clinch.
Grimes blocks a body shot from Copout.
Copout tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Grimes's elbow.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Copout.
Copout unloads a knee to the mid-section. Grimes lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Copout takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Grimes lands a really nice looking cross but Copout seems unphased.

Grimes cracks Copout with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Copout moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grimes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grimes lands with a nice combination. Copout backs away looking to recover.
Grimes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

letting Grimes counter with a right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grimes.
Copout scores with a jab to the body.
Grimes lands a nice looking body shot.
Grimes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Copout has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Copout has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Grimes.

That kick from Grimes tenderised Copout's leg. Copout is trying to keep his angry face on.

Grimes throws a leg kick which misses Copout's front leg but catches the back leg as Copout tries to avoid it.
Copout takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Grimes thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Copout if he has to take too many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grimes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grimes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Copout avoids the body shot from Grimes.
Grimes scores with a sloppy right hand. Copout should have avoided that one.

Copout's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Copout tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Grimes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Grimes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Copout has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Grimes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
