Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonh Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rambo circles away.
Rambo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rambo shoots and misses

and Swift decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rambo's guard.
Rambo keeping moving, preventing Swift from controlling successfully.
Swift stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rambo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Swift stands up and waves to Rambo to follow him.
Swift tries to land a front kick but Rambo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Swift works Rambo's body with a nice hook.

Swift drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rambo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Swift really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Rambo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Swift. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Swift bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Swift trying to control the position from guard on top but Rambo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rambo is looking for a triangle here but Swift uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Swift tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Swift has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rambo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Swift wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rambo prevents Swift from improving position.

Swift thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Swift stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Rambo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Swift to his feet.

and Rambo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Swift won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donovan Swift. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Swift is trying to get back to half guard.
Rambo tries to advance to mount but can't.
Swift manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Swift is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Swift is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rambo defends it well.
Rambo is in trouble now - Swift has advanced to mount!

Rambo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Swift.
Rambo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rambo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rambo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Rambo wants to hold on but Swift pushes him away.
Rambo regains half guard.
Swift looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Rambo is looking to control Swift's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rambo avoid being mounted?
Swift seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Swift in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rambo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Swift!
