Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubin Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young's entrance music is Blue Oyster Cult's Godzilla. A fine choice. Kersikov has chosen Rise Against - Satellite as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rubin Kersikov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Young.
Steve Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Young lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kersikov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Young manages to avoid it.
Young moves into range and connects with a jab.
Young scores with a hook to the body. Kersikov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kersikov closes the distance but Young moves to the side
and Young counters with an outside leg kick.
Kersikov looks gassed!
An inside leg kick from Kersikov misses.
A left lands for Young.
It looks like Rubin Kersikov has been cut.
Young feints and then cracks Kersikov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kersikov down.
Kersikov tries to clinch up.
Young cracks Kersikov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Young has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kersikov to stand back up!
Kersikov is rocked!
Young drops Kersikov with a huge uppercut! Kersikov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Young is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Young!
