Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steve Jennum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ahmad Malushev!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malushev works the jab nicely.

Jennum feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Malushev wants to stand up but Jennum is controlling him.
Malushev is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Jennum stays in close to Malushev's body and controls the position.
Jennum pushes down on Malushev's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jennum takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jennum frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Malushev is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jennum landing strikes from the mount and Malushev is in trouble!
Malushev squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jennum raining down hammerfists from mount.
Jennum looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jennum seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Malushev for as long as he can get away with.
Jennum scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Malushev?
Jennum lands with some strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jennum lands a heavy elbow.
Jennum takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jennum lands a nice shot to the head.

Malushev is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Jennum raining down hammerfists from mount.
Jennum controlling from mount.
Jennum pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Malushev is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jennum landing strikes, looking to finish!
Jennum connects with a bit shot that sees Malushev covering up! More strikes from Jennum and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Jennum is our winner by TKO!
