The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korba keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Korba pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Deavon throws a head kick but Korba moves out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Korba!
Deavon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Deavon thows a left - swing and a miss!

Korba fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Deavon to the ground. Korba is now in Deavon's guard.

Korba drops back, looking for a kneebar! Deavon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Deavon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Deavon!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Korba lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Deavon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Deavon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Erwin Korba will probably get the nod.

Korba shoots for a double leg takedown but Deavon sprawls well. He's pushed Korba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Erwin Korba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Korba lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Deavon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Deavon wants it to stay on the feet.

Deavon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Korba eats them both and turns towards Deavon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
