Coxwell comes to the cage accompanied by Messiah by Konflict (Nosia Remix). Salvador Dali has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dali throws a right and a left that Coxwell avoids nicely.
Salvador Dali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coxwell slips under a jab.
Dali avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Coxwell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Coxwell fails to land with a series of punches.
Coxwell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dali throws out the jab.
A clash of legs there as Dali blocks the low kick.
Coxwell takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Coxwell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dali.

Dali scores with a jab to the body.
Coxwell wants to land a leg kick but Dali is out of range.
Dali shoots for a double leg takedown but Coxwell sprawls well. He's pushed Dali's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coxwell moves away.

Coxwell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Coxwell.
Coxwell tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dali knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dali is looking for a sweep. Coxwell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Coxwell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Dali tries to get to full guard but Coxwell has control of the leg.
Dali regains full guard. Nicely done.
Dali has momentary wrist control but Coxwell slips an elbow through the middle.
Coxwell slips nicely into half guard.
Coxwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dali keeps working.
Coxwell passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dali!
Dali is desperately trying to improve his position but Coxwell has a good base and remains in mount.
Dali manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Dali works his way to full guard. Good work.

Dali manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Coxwell manages to get himself to full guard.
Dali prevents Coxwell from getting back to his feet.
Coxwell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dali is one step ahead there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dali looks gassed!
Coxwell wants to sweep but no luck.

Dali is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coxwell is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coxwell has escaped and now he's on top!
Coxwell trying to control but Dali is working from the bottom.

Coxwell gets to his feet - Dali follows without any prompting.
Dali works Coxwell's body with a nice hook.
Coxwell throws a series of punches but Dali moves out of range.
Dali falls off balance throwing a combination

and Coxwell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Coxwell with a flurry of punches that miss.

Dali looking for a guillotine here but Coxwell defends easily.
Coxwell cracks Dali with a solid left hand.

Dali is looking to sinch up a triangle. Coxwell throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dali's body to avoid the submission. Dali has instead reached around Coxwell's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dali arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
