The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Penn throws a sloppy head kick and Gudini moves out of range easily.
Gudini dodges the punch combination from Penn.

and Penn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Penn.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Penn is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Penn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gudini really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Penn uses his free foot to push down on Gudini's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gudini.
