Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronin Fujimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronin Fujimoto!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimoto lands with a straight right. Tepes didn't see that one coming.
Fujimoto throws a shot from downtown. Tepes moves away and avoids it.
Fujimoto wants to clinch.

Tepes moves into range and clinches up with Fujimoto.
Tepes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Fujimoto taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Fujimoto is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Tepes goes for a takedown attempt but Fujimoto pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tepes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fujimoto.

Fujimoto tries to clinch there but Tepes circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tepes shoots in but Fujimoto avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fujimoto pushes down on Tepes's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tepes is staying active underneath Fujimoto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Tepes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fujimoto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tepes's guard.

Tepes throws a strike but Fujimoto rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tepes is looking to stand up but Fujimoto isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
