Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dandy The Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Don might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sometime Around Midnight by The Airbourne Toxic Event. Dandy The Don has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partridge stuffs the takedown.

The Don shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The Don wants to control from the top but Partridge keeps moving.

The Don is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Partridge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Partridge has escaped and now he's on top!
Partridge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Don. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The Don wants to sweep here but Partridge controlling him for the moment.

Partridge wanted to stand there but The Don had control of the position.

The Don has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Partridge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The Don is really struggling to control Partridge but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The Don is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Partridge must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Partridge wants to stand but The Don has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Partridge goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Partridge tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
The Don is trying to escape the mount.
The Don seems to have got his legs back now.
The Don wants to hold on but Partridge pushes him away.
Partridge is looking to stand but Partridge has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
The Don gets back to half guard.
The Don makes his way to full guard. A much better position for The Don.
The Don wants to control the position but Partridge says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Partridge prevents The Don from improving his position.
Partridge tries to stand and escape but The Don is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Don tries to roll over but Partridge keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A combination from Partridge does no damage.
Partridge lands a brutal head kick. The Don looks out on his feet and Partridge throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
