With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Herbie Versmellon!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barr takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Versmellon throws a sloppy head kick and Barr moves out of range easily.
Barr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Versmellon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Barr avoids the head kick by Versmellon.
Versmellon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Versmellon tries a head kick but it misses.
A combination from Barr does no damage.
Versmellon lands a high kick!
Barr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Barr avoids the head kick by Versmellon.
Versmellon misses with a head kick.
Barr misses with a body kick.
Barr throws a lazy body kick
and Versmellon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Versmellon throws a head kick that misses.

Versmellon throws a sloppy head kick and Barr moves out of range easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Barr!
Versmellon looks gassed!

and Barr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barr lands with an overhand left.

It looks like Herbie Versmellon has been cut.
Versmellon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barr scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Barr tries to land a front kick but Versmellon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Versmellon on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Barr cracks Versmellon with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Versmellon get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Versmellon looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Herbie Versmellon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Versmellon misses with a head kick.
Versmellon is still on wobbly legs! Can Barr finish him?
A good leg kick by Barr.
Barr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Versmellon. That did some damage!
Crunch! Barr slams his shin into Versmellon's torso.
Versmellon seems to have recovered his senses.
Barr connects with a solid leg kick.

Barr lands with an uppercut that bounces Versmellon off the ropes and back into range.
Barr connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Versmellon's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Versmellon - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
