Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Einari Juusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen shoots in and bounces Juusto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Juusto manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allen manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allen drops his hands momentarily and Juusto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Juusto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Allen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Juusto throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.
Allen needs to keep his hands up - Juusto had a free shot at his head there.
Juusto loads up on a big right hand but Allen slips the punch.
Allen takes one to the side of the head.
Juusto looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely.
Allen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Allen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Nice takedown defense from Juusto. No joy for Allen on that attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allen clinches.
Allen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Juusto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Allen tightens his grip and picks Juusto up, before dumping him to the ground. Juusto manages to land in guard.

Allen stands up and waves to Juusto to follow him.
Juusto connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Allen 's hands.
Juusto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Allen walks into a stiff left hand from Juusto.
Juusto moves into range and connects with a jab.
Juusto is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Allen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Allen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Allen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Juusto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Allen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Juusto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Allen lets go of the hold and Juusto can pop his arm back in it's socket.
